Matthew Watson has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and with Oppenheimer since 2017. He spent his early career at A.G. Edwards and Wachovia Securities. In 2009 he moved his practice to Raymond James Financial to provide his clients greater financial stability and flexibility. In 2017, with a goal of helping other advisors build their businesses, Matt moved to Oppenheimer & Co to become the branch manager of the Red Bank, NJ office. He continues to grow his practice as well as maintain a focus on expanding the Oppenheimer Red Bank branch. Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Fullerton. He played professional baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league system and has also completed an Ironman distance triathlon.
